Madadman..The right to work states make it so you can only sue your emplyer if you can prove
"willful and wanton intent to harm" IOW they have to shoot you or some shit. I had the baest aviation attys in the country,(Corboy, Demetrio and Clifford) in Chicago and they put a ton into my case. We fanally had to try a 3rd party suit,
but it got thrown out..it was airline negligence all the way. I was found to be 99% free of fault
as was the third party. The airlines were found
to be at fault, but our hands were tied at that point. We couldn't re-write the law .
Il, Fl, and a number of other states have this.
You get coverage for life from workers comp for meds and needs (If you don't have to fight first)
I had to fight tooth fang and claw to get a lightweight wheechair. (would you believe that?) so I could carry my infant son. (at the time)
Workers comp sucks bigtime in that state.
Well, you get bitter or better as they say and it's water under the bridge, no point staying angry and giving them any more of my life.
I've moved on and enjoy whatever life I can [img]smile.gif[/img]

MM4 I worked sales for Action (Now of Action/Mcfarlane fame) [img]wink.gif[/img] after I recovered, learned to walk again etc..But, I finally had to quit due to pain issues (My Phantom limb pain is
really bad to this day due to the nerve damamge)
They still haven't found a "cure" so all they can do is give you pain meds. I get really bad attacks if I'm stationary too long (like at a desk) even here I often have to get up which is why I disappear for a time and come back.
Pain finally took it's toll to where I was falling asleep on the way home from work. I couldn't be safe to myself and others so I said
"that's it". I write music and Graphic novel type stuff to keep active and keep my mind from melting into mush. My music really pulled me through a lot of the worst of the last 10 years.

You know, it's beens so long since I was a tourist there I'm not sure how the tipping deal works. I remember the days when you could get a better seat at a show if you slipped the usher a 20. Doesn't really work that way anymore. It was a better town when the mob was running things. [img]wink.gif[/img]
